Our Processes

We make Blake stitched shoes - Blake Rapid - Goodyear - A Sacchetto - Tubular

Goodyear stitching

A unique stitching technique that few still practice, it involves sewing the welt together with the upper and lining directly onto the last. A layer of cork is placed in the space created between the insole and the sole, followed by a second external stitching that stitches the welt and the sole together, essentially creating a splendidly unique, elegant, and valuable shoe.

Blake Stitching

Blake stitching.........this process is done by joining the sole directly to the upper, after which the increna is made, which is a cut in the sole that creates a thin layer of leather where the stitching is then made, then the leather flap is beaten over to protect the stitching.

Blake - Rapid

The Blake stitching joins the leather insole to the midsole and remains clearly visible inside the shoe. With the "Rapid" stitching, the second leather (or rubber) sole is sewn to the first sole or midsole.

The Rapid stitching is therefore clearly visible on both the welt and the bottom of the shoe. The connection between the welt and the midsole ensures a perfect fit and excellent air permeability.

Wash Bag

The “bag” or "Bologna" process consists of creating a lining that is sewn around the shape like a glove or, indeed, a bag, before being worked .

The ironing generally takes place with a heated last and the shoe is beaten by hand until the shape is obtained.
A breathable padded material is inserted between the sole and the lining to aid shock absorption , and then the lining and footbed are sewn to the upper.

Tubular Lav.

The leather upper extends under the sole of the foot, replacing the insole and forming a "leather tube." It stands out for its extremely flexible and soft shape.
